Getting started with Qlik

After creating many emails over the years about how to get up and started using Qlik as a developer, I thought it would be useful to compile this information into one simple post. One of the great things about Qlik is that both Qlikview and Qlik Sense share a lot of similarities within the core engine, so what works in Qlikview should work in Qlik Sense when it comes to load scripts and expressions.

One of the many great things about Qlik that I have found over the years is the feeling of community that it has.  The people who work with Qlik technologies regularly love to talk about it and there is so much information out there.  With so many people talking about Qlik and so much information available it can be a bit daunting trying to figure out where to start.  This page should serve as an index by topic of resources that have been created to help users and developers get the most out of Qlikview and Qlik Sense.

I will try to improve and refine this list of resources as time passes, as I hope it will cover everything from beginners to Qlik’ers looking to get more power out of the Qlik platform.  I know it will never be an exhaustive list but I hope it acts as a good starting point.  If you feel that I have left any links off that should be there, please email me at lblancher(at)bizxcel.com.

Happy Qlik’ing!
